On November 16, 2023 our very own Makayla Baker signed her commitment to Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana to play softball. She will soon graduate and transform from a Warrior to a Pirate!
Before signing, Athletic Director Austin Smithey and Makayla gave speeches to the full boardroom of supporters. To paraphrase Athletic Director Smithey, we hope that Makayla's leadership and dedication will result in other Warriors to follow her example. Makayla gave a moving speech thanking all who helped her reach this moment in her athletic career. We are so proud of you, Makayla, and cannot wait to watch you accomplish even greater things!
