Warren High School is celebrating an incredible achievement as senior Emily Jones has been awarded the prestigious Presidential Scholar distinction from Lamar University. The honor, announced this afternoon, comes with a full four-year scholarship covering tuition, fees, room and board, and books—an estimated total value of $100,000!
The Presidential Scholar distinction is one of the highest academic honors awarded by Lamar University, recognizing outstanding students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to their communities.
Emily’s accomplishment is a source of great pride for Warren High School, serving as an inspiration to her classmates and future generations of students. The WHS community is thrilled to celebrate this well-earned success. The special presentation was made by Lamar University staff in front of a gathered audience, including Emily’s family and fellow Class of 2025 members.
