Now that it's Springtime, we're sure you're planning Summer vacation activities! Therefore, we wanted to ensure we let Warriors know that there will be no Summer school for elementary or junior high students! Warren High School will host Summer school for credit recovery and EOC retakes. Details for WHS Summer school will be released closer to the end of the school year for those that qualify for Summer school.
Thinking of becoming a Warren Warrior, but live outside the district? The student transfer window is now OPEN! WISD campuses are now accepting student transfer applications for the 2024-2025 school year; contact the campus of interest for further information. See the image for details!

WES student Grady was the recipient of the Trailblazer Award at the HLSR. Out of 1,200 entries across the state, his poem, “My Magical Rodeo Garden” was their overall favorite and named Trailblazer’s Choice. He will now be eligible to receive a scholarship through the program when he is a senior in high school. Grady was proud to represent Warren Elementary today in Houston!
Warren ISD is aware of a possible terroristic threat directed towards our junior high campus. It is being handled and investigated, with law enforcement being involved. Our students' and personnel safety is our number one concern and priority at all times and we are taking this matter very seriously. All parties involved are safe and secure, with no immediate danger at this time.
UPDATE: WE HAVE EXTENDED THE COLLECTION DRIVE UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY, MARCH 15TH! If able, please donate items to the WJH Student Council, as they have coordinated a collection of items for victims of the Texas Panhandle wildfires. The collection of items will be through Friday, March 15th. Smaller items can be sent to school with a student and larger items can be dropped off in the front office. The collection of items includes bottled water, electrolyte beverages (Gatorade, etc.), nonperishable foods (canned food, packaged foods, etc.), and toiletries (toilet paper, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.). Let's make a difference in peoples' lives, Warriors!

The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. This information is shared as part of the district's obligations under the Federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).

Initially, Presidents’ Day was established in the late 1800s to celebrate the birthday of our nation's first president, George Washington. Then expanded to include Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, and has now expanded into a way to recognize all presidents in the nation's history.
