This month, our Tribe Tribute award goes to Bethany Rebbe, who was recognized at Monday night's board meeting where Warren High School Principal Keith Collins had the following kind words to say:
Tonight, it is with great pleasure that we gather here to shine a spotlight on an exceptional educator, Mrs. Bethany Rebbe, recipient of the TRIBE Tribute. Bethany's journey is a testament to her deep roots in our community, being a fifth-generation Warren graduate. After completing high school in 2016, she pursued higher education at Lamar University, earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration. While many would have taken a conventional path into the business world, Bethany's story takes an intriguing turn. Before joining the field of education, she worked in the oil and gas industry but felt a calling for something more profound. As fate would have it, Bethany often shares that she was led by a higher power to apply at Warren High School, and as they say, the rest is history. Today, we are privileged to witness the impact of that divine intervention. Bethany Rebbe takes immense pride in cultivating strong relationships with her students. Her commitment to the community is palpable, as she actively gives back to the place that shaped her. Beyond the classroom, Bethany finds joy in her travels with her husband and son, relishing good cups of coffee, and immersing herself in the world of literature.
Now, let's turn our attention to the words of those who know her best—her colleagues. Bethany is described as not just a teacher, but as someone who injects fun into learning, working tirelessly to keep her students engaged. Her attitude and aptitude are celebrated, and her optimistic spirit brings rays of sunshine into the lives of those around her. A fellow educator commends Bethany for her patience and genuine compassion. Bethany not only holds her students accountable but actively builds the essential relationships that allow for honest conversations. Furthermore, Bethany has exceptional efforts in supporting incoming freshmen and student-athletes, going above and beyond to help them acclimate to the high school environment. In the realm of mathematics, Bethany shines as an outstanding teacher, demonstrating integrity, setting clear boundaries, and maintaining a perfect learning environment for all her students.
Bethany Rebbe's journey from student to industry professional and now to an exemplary educator is a beacon of inspiration. Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to be part of her academic journey. So, let us join together in congratulating Bethany Rebbe for her well-deserved recognition with the TRIBE Tribute. May her dedication and passion continue to inspire us all.
On behalf of the WISD Board of Trustees and Administration, all staff were given a token of appreciation today! WISD is filled with exemplary employees that inspire and dedicate everything they have to this district and our students. We thank you for setting such an incredible example for our community's future! Enjoy the upcoming week off and be safe over the upcoming holiday breaks.

Introducing a dynamic behavior initiative at Warren Elementary aimed at fostering positive conduct among students! With the Tribe Dollar program, students have the opportunity to earn and spend Tribe dollars at their designated Tribe Time every week. Encouraging good behavior is key as students accumulate Tribe dollars for positive choices while facing the responsibility of potential deductions for less favorable decisions. This initiative not only motivates students to excel but also instills a sense of accountability within the school community. Tribe Dollars: Shaping a culture of positivity, responsibility, and rewards!
