Governor Abbott has officially declared October as Principal Appreciation Month. Thankfully, here at Warren ISD, we have the best of the best! Thank you to our Principals, Keith Collins (WHS), Heather McInnis (WES), Jess Schneider (FES), and Kristina Wiedman (WJH) and all of our assistant principals Brianne Dean (WHS), Stephanie Jones (WES), and Sharon Jeansonne (WJH) for all that you do!
This month's Tribe Tribute award goes to bus driver and custodian Sally Tatum, whose dedication to keeping our kids safe has made a difference in our community!
Last month, a vehicle passed our buses on the shoulder of the road at high speeds as some of our children were exiting. Thanks to Sally's quick acting in preventing them from exiting the bus while the vehicle passed, the children remained safe. It is this level of alertness and dedication that Sally brings with her every day that keeps our kids safe!
Thank you for all that you do, Sally! #busdriverssavelives
Happy Thursday WHS Family!
This is Keith Collins, principal at Warren High School. I hope you're doing well. I wanted to remind you that our snapshot attendance day is scheduled for tomorrow.
Attendance is crucial for your student's education as it ensures they don't miss out on valuable lessons and opportunities. It also helps us monitor their progress and provide the best support possible. In Texas, as in many other states in the United States, student attendance is crucial for funding because it directly impacts the allocation of financial resources to public schools. The snapshot attendance tomorrow is vital to this process. Please make sure your child is present tomorrow if at all possible.
Thank you for your cooperation, and have a great day!
Hello parents!
Several weeks ago your junior was given the opportunity to volunteer at the Haunted House at the Fred Carnival. Today is the last day for them to sign up for that as the event is this Saturday. This is the last prom fundraiser we will offer this year and it is always the most fun!
